Cookie and technical storage policy
Last updated: 5 August 2026
1. Who is responsible
The website owner is Lorenzo Palliser Barber, trading as Palliser Law Firm / Palliser Advocats, NIF 41500022H, Carrer des Forn 24, 07730 Alaior, Menorca. Privacy enquiries may be sent to [email protected].
2. What this website uses
The public website does not use analytics, behavioural-advertising or profiling cookies and does not load third-party advertising, analytics, maps or video embeds. Fonts and icons are hosted locally.
In ordinary browsing, balears.me does not set a browser cookie. It uses one item of local browser storage solely to remember that this technical notice has been acknowledged. This preference does not identify you, follow your browsing or enable any optional service.
3. Current storage inventory
This storage is strictly necessary to retain a preference expressly requested through the notice. It is covered by the technical-storage exception in Article 22(2) LSSI and does not require consent.
4. Security services and third-party links
Cloudflare protects and delivers the website. If its security systems present a bot or security challenge, Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies such as cf_clearance (normally 30 minutes) or __cf_bm (30 minutes after inactivity). They are used only to validate traffic and protect the service, not for advertising or web analytics.
Google Maps, the App Store, Formspree and other third-party services are not embedded as tracking scripts. Their own privacy and cookie terms apply only when you choose an external link or submit the contact form.
5. How to manage storage
You may reopen this notice at any time using “Cookie notice” in the footer. You can also delete balears_cookie_notice through your browser settings; the notice will then be shown again.
If balears.me later introduces any non-essential technology, it will be disabled by default. The policy and notice will be updated and prior, freely given and granular consent will be requested before that technology is used.
6. Legal framework
This policy follows Article 22(2) of the Spanish Information Society Services Act (Law 34/2002), the GDPR consent rules and the current Spanish Data Protection Agency cookie guidance.
